Degree Plans
Students at our Killeen campus can pursue the Bachelor of Aviation Science degree. This unique program offers the only public-assisted aviation program in Texas and is one of only three programs in the state. The Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation provides students with a well-rounded curriculum with strong conceptual foundations in aviation and management. Students can focus their studies to prepare themselves for a specific career in the aviation industry by choosing either the professional pilot or aviation management options.
All freshman and sophomore core curriculum classes, as well as flight courses, ratings and certificates must be completed at specified approved colleges outside of Texas A&M University - Central Texas. TAMUCT offers junior, senior and graduate level courses and does not have a flight school.
Professional pilot option
Studies for the Professional Pilot Option concentrate on aircraft flight operations and prepare students with qualifications as professional pilots with a science/technology orientation. Advanced aeronautical ratings complemented by business administration, management, and communication skills for professional pilots in the civil and military aviation industries are the focus of the curriculum.

Aviation Management
Students in the Aviation Management Option study business and management as they relate to the technology of aviation, preparing them for a variety of administrate and management positions in the aviation industry.
