Community Counseling and Family Therapy Center
The Community Counseling and Family Therapy Center (CCFTC) serves as both a training facility for graduate students in the Department of Education and Psychology and as a form of counseling services to the local community. Quality counseling for individuals, couples and families is provided on a sliding scale. Clients receive the highest quality of services from clinicians-in training under the supervision of University faculty licensed to practice in various fields of mental health (Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy, and School Psychology). Faculty, staff, and students have a legal and ethical responsibility to provide professional, high quality services for clients who seek our services.
Advanced graduate students counsel members of the community regarding a variety of concerns. Some of the issues addressed are:
