Laminating, Die Cuts, and Copying

In addition to standard library services, we also provide specialized services available to all library patrons for a small fee.

Laminating

Laminating services are available for TAMUCT students, faculty, and staff for a fee. Please deliver your lamination project to the circulation desk at the Reference Library.

• The laminator will be run between 10:30-11:30am and 3:00-4:00pm.
• Lamination dropped off after 4:00pm will be processed the following day.

Library Services reserves the right to refuse a lamination job if it contains items that may damage the laminator or that are not appropriate for lamination. Example: plastic beads, plastic jewels, googly eyes, etc.

Laminating photographs can be problematic. We will laminate a photograph, but Library Services is not responsible for the outcome.

Personal use

After the lamination job is finished, the library staff will place a charge on your library account for $0.50 per linear foot. Payment of the bill is required upon completion of the lamination job.

University Departments

The library will laminate projects for a university department. The person who is responsible for the request will need to coordinate with the library for a departmental transfer of funds to cover the charge of $0.50 per linear foot. Please email library@ct.tamus.edu to make arrangements.

University Organizations

The library will also laminate projects for a university organization. The person who is responsible for the request will need to coordinate with the library for payment of the $0.50 per linear foot charge at the time the project is delivered. Please email library@ct.tamus.edu to make arrangements.

Die Cuts

Need to design a creative bulletin board for your class or office? The Lending Library has bulletin board die cuts available between 8:00am-5:00pm at the TAMUCT Fairway Building. Bring your own construction paper.

Examples of dies available:

Block lettering (upper and lower case) and punctuation are also available.

Copiers and Scanners

Copiers at Fairway Building and Founder's Hall are $0.10 per copy. Scanners can be used for free at Fairway Building and Founder's Hall library locations.

Copier and Scanner Copyright Restrictions

The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Photocopies or other reproductions can be furnished only under certain specified conditions. One such condition is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research." Using this reproduction equipment may make the user liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse use of this equipment if, in its judgment, fulfillment would violate the copyright law.
