Library Usernames and Passwords

The library has several different applications that require usernames and passwords.  Contact information for getting help is available for each resource by using the information below it.

Online Databases

Database Login imageLibrary databases currently go through the Tarleton proxy server for authentication and should require a password only from off campus locations. Use your Tarleton NTNET username and password. (The same username and passwords used to log into your go.tarleton.edu email account.)

Go to Online Databases - http://www.ct.tamus.edu/departments/library/databaselist.html

  • Claim/Establish your Tarleton NTNET (Network) username.
  • Use TSync to Change/Reset your password.
    • NOTE: If you can't remember your password to change/reset it, try the default password - a capital K followed by your University ID number (including all the leading zeros).
    • NOTE: Look up your University ID.

Hobby Library Catalog - My Account

Catalog Login imageOur online catalog provides access to your library account. You can view a list of items currently borrowed, extend loan periods, change your PIN number, and place holds on needed materials.

Click on the My Account link at the top of the page.

  • Your 'My Account' username is initially set by Library staff when you bring your University Photo ID card to the Library Circulation Desk.
  • The 'My Account' username is your University ID number (UID) followed by a digit representing the number of ID Cards you have been issued and should be listed on the back of your card.
  • To have your PIN reset, click the 'User PIN Change' link on the 'My Account' page.

ILLiad - Interlibrary Loan

Use our online interlibrary loan system to request items not available to you locally.

  • Log into ILLiad using your NTNET username and password.    First Time Users will need to complete the form and establish a pickup location.
