Group Orientation Request Form

Group orientation sessions are designed to familiarize an entire class with research. We tailor these sessions so that they reflect your needs. Our staff can be as broad or as specific as required, focusing on one assignment, one course, or resources in an entire field of study. The goal of a group orientation is to prepare students to master basic research skills and to introduce them to upper division and graduate level research.

You will receive an email confirming the time and location for your orientation. If you have not received a confirmation email, your session has not yet been scheduled. If these restrictions are not amenable, please email Bridgit McCafferty, the reference and instruction coordinator, at bmccaffe@ct.tamus.edu.

Please Note: When appropriate, the reference librarian may schedule multiple, related individual research consultations as group orientations.
