Fairway Building Libraries

The TAMUCT Fairway Building is the main location for the University Libraries. This location started as a reference area for TAMUCT libraries in January 2009, and grew to become a library extension in the Fall of 2010. Starting on July 1, 2012, this is the main location for all services offered by TAMUCT Libraries.

Currently, Fairway Building features two libraries: the Reference Library and the Lending Library. The Reference Library operates as the main access point for services, such as research help, information literacy instruction, reserve services, periodicals, and digital collections, with over 65,000 eBooks and 25,000 eJournals. The Lending Library contains the bulk of our print collection, totaling over 70,000 volumes.

Founder's Hall Library Extension

The Founder's Hall Library Extension opened in June 2012, shortly after the building's grand opening. The Library Extension is a service area at the new TAMUCT Building that offers many of the same services available through the main libraries at Fairway Building. These services include research help, computer access, information literacy instruction, and circulation services.

Texas A&M University-Central Texas Archives

The TAMUCT Fairway Building Libraries house the University Archives. Established in 2009, the TAMUCT Archives is the official repository for records of TAMUCT and the gateway to its past. The role of the University Archives is to identify, acquire, manage, and preserve university records of enduring value and make them available for use in accordance with policies approved by TAMUCT administration and faculty. University Archives holds material relating to every aspect of TAMUCT's history, including publications, photographs, audio-visuals, artifacts, TAMUCT memorabilia, items that were given to the library as gift donations, and more.
