Ribbon Cutting - Building One
"This building will be a beacon on this hill. It will send a message constantly about education, the opportunity for education, and the rewards for education." —Dr. Marc A. Nigliazzo, Inaugural President
On August 26, 2010, Texas A&M University-Central Texas broke ground on our first building housed on 662 beautiful acres of land transferred from the U.S. Army to The Texas A&M University System. On the morning of May 24, 2012 we invite you to experience the dream as it comes to fruition. Join us at our new home, where our Warrior Nation will grow and ignite the passion for lifelong learning for generations to come.
Groundbreaking - Building Two
Immediately following the dedication ceremony we will achieve yet another milestone by breaking ground on our second building. The $50 million, 125,500 sq. ft. facility will continue to bring our campus community together. The second building will be home to our Library, Counseling Center, Career Services, School of Education, Social Work Program, Distributed Learning and Instructional Technology, and will provide additional classroom and laboratory space.
Texas A&M University-Central Texas is growing rapidly, but we will always remember where our roots are planted. The community's support to our university is unwavering and we would be honored if you would help in welcoming us home.
