Hedstrom (research assistant and Central Texas College student) at the Southwestern Social Science Association annual meeting, in San Diego, CA, April 4-7, 2012: "Mourning Poetry: An Expression of Passionate Masculinity in Mid-19th Century Kansas"; and, "Women and Danger in Frontier Coffey County, Kansas (1850-1870)".
